Whistleblower Channel

Bioretec has established a Whistleblowing Channel that allows its employees, stakeholders, and business partners to anonymously report any misconduct related to Bioretec’s operations that are defined by the Whistleblower Protection Act (including securities market legislation and regulations) or any breaches of Bioretec’s Code of Conduct.

The reporting channel is intended solely for suspected misconduct or violations covered by the Whistleblower Protection Act and Bioretec’s Code of Conduct. It is not for matters such as employment issues or customer feedback.

The whistleblowing channel is an important tool to reduce risks and maintain trust, as it helps Bioretec to detect and react to potential misconduct at an early stage.  The person reporting a matter does not have to provide definite evidence to support their suspicions, but they must be convinced of their veracity and must act in good faith.

The technical platform for Bioretec’s Whistleblowing Channel is provided by an external service provider, the Finland Chamber of Commerce.

All reports are handled confidentially, and the reporter will receive an acknowledgment of receipt within seven days of submission. Information on the processing of the report will be provided within three months of the acknowledgment being sent.
